All staff I have dealt with down to the most entry-lever worker have been extremely professional and personable. Had an entire system installed to replace swamp cooler and gas heater about 3 yrs ago. Occasionally had problems with the thermostat. They replaced it several times at no charge. Always liked their repair people. Finally last month, the thermostat stopped working altogether. I asked for their top dog repairman and they sent out the boss of the service dept. He and his men found a shorted-out wire and spent nearly a day replacing it and the entire thermostat system. Now it works perfect. They charged me nothing. The owners and managers are respectable and fair people. It makes me feel good to deal with an honest company.
Always came on time and always did the job right. Found a hard to find leak in my refrigerated air. If you have a maintenance contract with them (clean your AC and furnace units once a year), they do NOT charge you time and half for emergency calls on nights and weekends. This is a huge win on a HOT July night when your AC suddenly decides to die. Their technician Raymond is very good.
So we wanted to switch from a swamp cooler to AC because it kept causing roof leaks and didn't work at all in the summer.
One place told us $22,000 so we almost gave up. Decided to try these guys just in case and they quoted us far less than half that price.
Installed the unit, works amazingly well, installers were the nicest people, and they left the house cleaner than they found it.
I would recommend desert suns to anyone who has heating/cooling needs.
Called Desert Suns out for a Carrier unit that was not cooling very well. They sent out the technician the next morning, and he was very knowledgable, identified three small issues and fixed all of them on the spot. Discussed the pros and cons of fixing each and the potential benefits, and I agreed. All said, the unit is working wonderfully now, very cold! I highly recommend this outfit, very polite from the person answering the phone to the technician who worked at the house.
